BBrainers: jurists “unite their brains” to improve the justice system

The III edition of the BBrainers will be held next weekend, November 26, 27 and 28

The BBrainers 2021 edition will offer legal experiences of innovation, personal growth and shared learning in a different environment. Around one hundred judges, prosecutors, lawyers and law students will meet during the III edition of the BBrainers legal event to analyze the current scenario of the Spanish judicial system.

From November 26 to 28, 2021, the Legal event will cover controversial topics such as the politicization of justice, judicial independence, the influence of the media, telematic trials and the impact of technology in a growing world. more globalized.

The event will take place over a full weekend during which participants and speakers will live together, for 40 hours, in a natural environment that invites to share knowledge and experiences “from a critical point of view and with a thoughtful and respectful attitude with all opinions and ideas that seek to improve justice in particular, and our society in general, ”according to BBrainers event organizer, lawyer and entrepreneur Delia Rodriguez.

Although the BBrainers experience begins on Friday 26th, it will be on Saturday 27th that the Spanish Ambassador to Unesco, the former Minister of Culture and Sports José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, will officially open the third edition. It will do so with the round table entitled “Current panorama of justice in Spain”. It will bring together leading legal minds from different disciplines and discuss the current legal situation, addressing issues such as the politicization of justice, the latest post-pandemic legal reforms, parallel trials and other current social issues. The round table will bring together Luisa María Gómez, president of the Social Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Castilla-La Mancha and Natalia Velilla, magistrate and author of the book “Así Funciona la Justicia”. Among the guests are also renowned jurists such as José María de Pablo Hermida, partner of Bufete Mas y Calvet and the active journalist and head of the courts of La Sexta, Alfonso Pérez Medina. This round table will be moderated by legal journalist Pedro del Rosal.

Then, the round table “The impact of technology in the legal sector” will address questions such as Artificial intelligence applied to law firms? What will tomorrow’s training look like? Telematic trials and fundamental rights? “Zero paper in Justice: fiction or reality?” or “What will the training of the future look like?”. All of these questions will be addressed by legal and technology specialists. The intense debate will count on personalities from public institutions such as Ángel Niño, delegate of the innovation and entrepreneurship area of ​​the City of Madrid, and the judiciary, such as Carlos Viader, judge very involved in social networks. with social causes such as diversity. The other participants are: Alicia Muñoz Lombardía, Director of Governance, Regulation and Privacy at Santander Spain, Borja Adsuara, Doctor of Law and Consultant, and Juan José Sánchez Puig, President of the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISED). This round table will be moderated by journalist Carlos Berbell.

In the afternoon, it’s time for “The keys to Marketing for lawyers”. The last of the round tables will deal with the definitive keys to legal marketing, a subject that still interests all generations of lawyers present and will be moderated by journalist Carlos Capa.

The day will end with the BBraniers Awards Ceremony, which will be presented by Iberian Lawyer Journalist and Editor-in-Chief, Desiré Vidal.
