Captain America has now appeared in the Item Shop more than any other Fortnite skin

Captain America has now become the most frequently featured Fortnite skin in the Item Store by developer Epic. According to recent reports about it, the superhero has been featured no less than 81 times over the past two years.

The response from the community has of course been confusion. “Well, uh, what about Aura?” Like, you said any other skin,” replied a user by the name of ShadowMarine1X. ” And this one ? Someone calling themselves ThisIsSpy on the social media platform replied that “while Aura is in the store every month, it only stays for a day, very rarely a few days”.

As to why Captain America has received so much attention from Epic, ThisIsSpy noted that “Marvel sections stick around for a long time and Captain America happens to be one of the first skins in the Marvel Item Store.”

This follows the announcement that Destiny 2 may receive Fortnite content. According to a few notorious leaks, there may well be a crossover of some sort on the horizon. Dataminer known as GinsorKR recently shared an image of three Guardians wearing what appear to be Fortnite-inspired armor sets, one of which looks a lot like the Black Knight skin, a level 70 reward from Season 2. The second seems to have been inspired. by Drift, a Legendary outfit from Season 5.
