Nintendo has announced the release dates for both Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splaton 3 this week. And now, to add to that, the file sizes have also apparently been revealed via its official site. We have the size of Nintendo Switch Sportsalso.
So what are we looking at for each game? Here’s how much space you’ll need if you choose the digital versions.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – 15.0 GB
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is around 15.0 GB in size. In comparison, the base game of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was around 13.2 GB. The first game on Nintendo Switch is around 13.7 GB.
Splatoon 3 – 6.0 GB
Splatoon 3 is close to the second game which was 6.1 GB. The first Splatoon game on Wii U was only 1.8 GB when it was released.
Nintendo Switch Sports – 1.4 GB
Nintendo Switch Sports will be around 1.4GB at launch (April 29, but there are already additional free content updates planned that will allow players to play the game “Soccer” with the Leg Strap accessory. golf will also be added in the future.
As usual, these file sizes are subject to change ahead of each game’s official releases. While they’re not dead on launch game sizes, they should at least be some sort of indication of how much of space that each title will need.
