Prior to Google, he spent four years as a security engineer at Apple, specializing in IOS and MacOS kernel security.

Phil Whitby will build and run the Obsidian R&D center in the UK. He previously held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Synack, and prior to that worked as a security researcher for GCHQ in the UK. Finally, Autumn Wang brings extensive experience in security-focused DevOps from her work at Palo Alto Networks, where she scaled DevOps and site reliability for the Okyo product from the ground up to support charges hundreds of millions of dollars in cloud services revenue. Prior to Palo Alto, Autumn held DevOps and lead engineering roles at Illumio, Autodesk, and Salesforce.
