ProSteel Security Products Announces Promotions and Management Transition

PROVO, Utah–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ProSteel Security Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of safes and premium security products for hunting enthusiasts and other applications, today announced two upcoming leadership appointments . Kim Waddoups, currently Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will become Chief Executive Officer; and Rick Stepp, currently Vice President – ​​Operations, will become Chief Operating Officer. Both appointments will be effective January 17, 2022. Clay Linford, longtime CEO of ProSteel, will remain on the board following his retirement on May 25, 2022.

Prior to joining ProSteel in 2020, Mr. Waddoups previously served as CFO, CEO and Board Member of Liberty Safe & Security Products. He has been recognized as a leader in the gun safety industry for the past 17 years. Mr. Stepp joined ProSteel in November 2000 and has been instrumental in the many acclaimed engineering and product development advances the company has made that established ProSteel, together with its exclusive partner, Browning, the innovation leader in gun safety.
