A big Restaurant Depot store arrives on the west shore of Staten Island.
The wholesale food retailer leased 64,065 square feet from 1745-1801 South Avenuean open-air shopping center in an industrial area near the arthur kill waterfront, a representative for the owner Acquisitions A&H confirmed. The asking rent for the space was $25 per square foot, according to TradedNYwho published for the first time on the lease.
Alex Adjmiit’s A&H handled the transaction internally. metropolitan skylineit is Allie Beyda represented the tenant. Both parties declined to comment on the deal.
Other Travis Mall tenants include dollar treethe state motor vehicle department, Planet Fitness, Burlington Coat Factory and Chuck E. Cheese.
The mall is located on South Avenue between Meredith Avenue and the West Shore Freeway and is adjacent to two local wetlands – Meredith Woods and the Saw Mill River Swamp. The 681,000 square foot plaza is largely surrounded by industrial businesses, including Ready mix Big Applethe Metropolitan Transport Authorityit is Meredith Bus Depot, Richmond Recycling and City Asphalt. Nearby is also Amazonit is JFK8 distribution center, where workers have recently voted to form the e-commerce giant’s first union in the countryside.
Restaurant Depot — also known as Jetro – has locations in several other parts of the city, including Gowanus and Canarsie in Brooklyn, College Point and Maspeth in Queens, and Oak Point in the Bronx.
