SIA Names Antoinette King Winner of 2022 SIA Chair Award

SILVER SPRING, Md. — The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named Antoinette King as the 2022 recipient of the SIA Chair’s Award, an award given annually and selected by the Chairman of the SIA Board of Directors recognizing the diligent efforts of members of the SIA to advance the association’s mission and commitment to its future. SIA will present the award to King at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership meeting, which will be held March 22 during ISC West.

Antoinette King, founder of Credo Cyber ​​Consulting, LLC, has 21 years of experience in the security industry. She has held industry positions including engineering systems specialist, operations manager, regional sales manager and key account manager in integration and manufacturing companies. King founded Credo Cyber ​​Consulting in 2020 with the goal of providing clients with a holistic perspective on security, bridging the gap between the physical and cybersecurity domains with a focus on privacy and data protection. She holds Physical Security Professional (PSP) and Data Privacy Protection Specialist (DPPS) and Security Industry Cybersecurity Certification (SICC) certifications from SIA, as well as an MS in Cybersecurity Policy and Risk Analysis, a BS in Security Systems Management and an AS in Criminal Justice. King has published and presented on a variety of security topics in multiple capacities, including articles, white papers, keynotes, webinars, roundtables, and corporate discussions.

King is an active member of SIA serving as the Vice Chair of the SIA Cybersecurity Advisory Council, a board-appointed group of industry cybersecurity experts that guides SIA members upstream. potential cybersecurity issues related to electronic physical security measures.
